A Class 47 nameplate, RAILFREIGHT, as carried on the front of the locomotive below the cab window. This example carried by D1529 built by Brush Traction, works No 423, in July 1963 and renumbered 47007 in February 1974. It was fitted when the loco was named STRATFORD after its CEM overhaul in November 1986 and removed in November 1990. Allocated new to Finsbury Park, withdrawn in September 1991 from Tinsley and cut up by C.F.Booth at Rotherham in February 1994. Cast aluminium, 31½"x8½", ex loco condition.
