A smokebox numberplate, 47661, from a LMS Class 3F 0-6-0T No 16744 built by Beardmore, Works No 409, in 1929, renumbered 7661 in 1934, becoming BR 47661. A long time Crewe South engine, it spent its last six years as a Crewe Works shunter. Withdrawn from Crewe Works in the week ending 8 October 1966, it was sold for scrap to Cohens at Kettering.
