A worksplate, ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH, 449, 1921, from a Midland Railway 3835 Class 0-6-0 No 3970 which became BR Class 4F 43970. At Nottingham by January 1935 and later Toton, Hasland, Kirkby, Westhouses and Burton from where it was withdrawn on 11 February 1959 and despatched for scrap to Doncaster Works on 23 August 1960. Cast brass, 6"x4", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
