A worksplate VULCAN FOUNDRY, 5520, 1947, from a LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No 1162 which became BR 61162. It entered traffic at Gorton in May 1947 and its later sheds were Copley Hill, Doncaster, Darnall, Staveley, Lincoln and New England from where it was withdrawn in December 1964 and sold for scrap to Hughes Bolckow at North Blyth. Cast brass, 9"x5¼", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
