A worksplate, BEYER PEACOCK, 7186, 1946, from a South African Railways 3ft 6ins gauge Class GEA 4-8-2+2-8-4 Beyer Garratt No 4019. The class was designed for goods traffic and all were withdrawn by 1976. Cast brass, 10¼"x5¾", lightly cleaned but unpainted. (Postage Band: B)
