A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 9143, NB LOCO Co, 1910, from a North British Railway Class A 0-6-2T No 399 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 19176, at its Hyde Park Works, in August 1910. It became LNER N15 Class No 9399 and was renumbered 9143 in 1946, becoming BR 69143. Allocated to Parkhead by January 1948 and later Thornton Junction and Motherwell from where it was withdrawn on 16 September 1960 and cut up at Inverurie Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front cleaned but unpainted. (Postage Band: B)
