A worksplate, AJMER, 1909, from a metre gauge 0-6-0, one of three Class F engines Nos 799-801, built by the Bombay, Baroda and Central Indian Railway at its main workshops in 1909. Later classified F3, Nos 799 and 800 lasted into Indian Railways' days but never received All-India numbers. Cast brass, 6¾"x4½", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
