A nameplate, THE BRAES OF DERWENT, from a LNER D49 Hunt Class 4-4-0 No 255 built at Darlington and named after the foxhunt which operated in the Shotley Bridge and Durham areas, entering traffic at York in August 1932. It was renumbered 2742 in 1946 becoming BR 62742 and its later sheds were Gateshead and Neville Hill from where it was withdrawn in November 1958 and cut up at Darlington Works.
