A Rhodesia Railways cabside numberplate, 609, 16, from a 3ft 6ins gauge Class 16 2-8-2+2-8-2 Beyer Garratt built by Beyer Peacock, Works No 6878, in 1938 and originally No 260. Sold in 1971 to the Transvaal Navigation Colliery. Cast brass, 19"x12¾", the front repainted. (Postage Band: D)
