A worksplate, HUDSWELL CLARKE, 431, 1895, from a standard gauge 0-6-0ST new to Sheepbridge Coal & Iron Co Ltd, later Sheepbridge Co Ltd, at Sheepbridge, Derbyshire, their No 15, where it was rebuilt in 1928 and 1944. In March 1951 it moved to Desborough Quarries in Northamptonshire, owned by Sheepbridge, and was sent to Kimbells Ltd at Northampton for repair in about October 1955. When the quarry lines were closed this engine was purchased for the Chasewater Light Railway Society and was moved to Chasewater in December 1967 where it remains in store awaiting restoration.
