A Rhodesia Railways cabside numberplate, 643, from a 3ft 6ins gauge 16A Class 4-6-4+4-6-4 Beyer Garratt No 643 built by Beyer Peacock, Works No 7521, in 1953. After a period in store it was refurbished and returned to traffic in June 1979 and was based in Bulawayo prior to withdrawal. Cast brass, 19"x12¾", the front repainted. (Postage Band: D)
