A worksplate Hudswell, Clarke D697 of 1950 from a standard gauge 0-4-0 diesel-mechanical locomotive new to Scottish Oils Ltd, Grangemouth Refinery, Stirlingshire as No 4. Sold around 1970 to Youngs Paraffin Light & Mineral Oil Co Ltd, Pumpherston, Midlothian. Subsequently entered preservation and currently located at the Northamptonshire Ironstone Railway Trust, Hunsbury Hill, Northampton. Engraved brass, 13"x8¼", the front polished. (Postage Band: B)
