A worksplate, BR-E, 61836, DARLINGTON WORKS, 1924, from a LNER K3 Class 2-6-0 No 125 built at Darlington in January 1925, renumbered 1836 in 1946, becoming BR 61836. A long time Immingham engine, it moved in 1959 to Mexborough and finally Doncaster from where it was withdrawn on 8 February 1960 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
