A worksplate, ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH, 419, 1921, from a Midland Railway 3835 Class 0-6-0 No 3940, retaining this number in LMS days and becoming BR 43940. A long time Saltley engine, it was withdrawn from there in October 1964 and scrapped. Cast brass, 5¾"x4", the front lightly cleaned. (Collect from Banbury Depot/Posted by Woodford Halse Office)
