A smokebox numberplate, 60956, from a LNER V2 Class 2-6-2 No 3668 built at Darlington in September 1942, renumbered 956 in 1946, becoming BR 60956. Its sheds were Doncaster, Copley Hill and New England from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Repainted. (Postage Band: D)
