A smokebox numberplate, 43856, from a Midland Railway 3835 Class 0-6-0 No 3856 built at Derby in 1918, retaining this number in LMS days, becoming BR Class 4F 43856. It spent most of its later years at Hasland and Nottingham before moving in 1961 to Gorton from where it was withdrawn in September 1964 and sold for scrap to Cohens at Ickles, Rotherham. Repainted.
