£400
A GWR cabside numberplate 6320 from a Churchward 43XX Class 2-6-0 built at Swindon in 1921. A long time Swindon engine, moving later to Westbury and Severn Tunnel Junction from where it was withdrawn in November 1963 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport. Notably it was the only GWR Mogul to be equipped for oil burning from March 1947 until August 1949. Restored with boiler and class details clearly stamped in the beading. Cast brass, the front repainted. (Dispatch by Mailboxes/Collect from Banbury Depot)
