A worksplate, No 2092, DARLINGTON, 1949, from a (LNER) J72 Class 0-6-0T No 69011 built by BR at Darlington to a North Eastern Railway design. It entered traffic at Hull Dairycoates in December 1949 and its other sheds were Hull Alexandra Dock and briefly at the end West Hartlepool from where it was withdrawn in December 1963 and sold for scrap to G.Cohen at Cargo Fleet. Engraved brass, 12¼"x6¼", unpolished. (Postage Band: C)
