A locomotive nameplate, HABERFIELD HALL, from a 4900 Hall class 4-6-0 No 6949 built at Swindon in December 1942 and named in May 1947 after a gothic mansion at Pill three miles north west of Bristol. Converted to oil burning in May 1947 and renumbered 3955, it was re-converted by BR in April 1949 and reverted to its original number. Its BR sheds were Laira, Swindon, Stafford Road, Banbury, Taunton and Shrewsbury from where it was withdrawn in May 1961 and cut up at Swindon Works. Ex loco condition.
