A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 61299, N.B. LOCO, 1948, from a (LNER) B1 Class 4-6-0 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 26200. A regular performed on the Great Central main line, it was allocated new in March 1948 to Leicester G.C. where it remained until moving in November 1957 to Colwick from where it was withdrawn in July 1965 and sold for scrap to Cohens at Ickles, Rotherham. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
