A Highland Railway single line staff for the Dornoch Light Railway, a one engine in steam staff inscribed BETWEEN THE MOUND & DORNOCH on each side of the circular head. The light railway opened in 1902, closing in 1960. The staff was supplied by McKenzie and Holland of Worcester; their name is engraved on the rim of the staff. Cast brass, length 10¼", the diameter of the head 4". (We originally sold this staff many years ago) (Postage Band: C)
